A student-athlete in Bloomfield passed away after collapsing during football practice on Nov. 27.
This student, who’s name was not shared, played on the Bloomfield Junior Warhawk Football Team.
Town officials recount the events that lead to his passing.
“He was unable to be revived despite attempts by staff and emergency medical personnel.”
In response to this tragedy, they urge the importance of being the support system this student’s family and friends need.
“As we navigate this profound loss together, we want to emphasize the importance of supporting one another. We encourage all students, staff, and families to reach out for help and lean on each other for support and strength.”
Starting his freshman year as a student at Bloomfield High School, he later transferred to MHS, having an undeniably positive impact on our school community.
During this hard time, the Manchester and Bloomfield communities will continue to stand behind and support this student’s loved ones.
